Omar A. Ross | DPT, ATC, OCS
Omar Ross is a staff physical therapist at North Hills Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi completing a B.S. in Sports Medicine. Prior to attending physical therapy school, he completed his Master of Arts in Human Performance at the University of New Orleans. Dr. Ross completed his formal studies at Slippery Rock University, receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Dr. Ross is a board certified orthopedic specialist and continues to serve as a clinical instructor with as an adjunct professor with Slippery Rock University.
Omar has particular interests in foot and ankle injuries, incorporation of the trunk
musculature in functional training and hip girdle dysfunctions. Omar has also
contributed to various works in orthopedic and sports physical therapy practice.
Omar is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from Redeemer High
School. During his college preparatory studies, he played varsity football and served as an athletic training intern to various varsity sports programs.
