OMAR A. ROSS

Omar Ross has been a staff physical therapist at North Hills Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy since 2005. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. Prior to attending physical therapy school, he completed his Master of Arts in Human Performance at the University of New Orleans. Omar received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University.
 

Omar is a board-certified orthopedic specialist, and also serves a clinical instructor of physical therapy at Slippery Rock University. He is an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Youngstown State University.
 

Omar has particular expertise in foot and ankle injuries, incorporating the trunk and hip musculature in functional training. He has contributed to various published works in orthopedic and sports physical therapy practice. 
 

Omar is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. As an undergraduate student, he played varsity football and served as an athletic training intern to various varsity sports programs.
