
CHRISTOPHER HUGHES
PT, PhD, OCS, CSCS
Chris has been a staff physical therapist at North Hills Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy since 1993. He completed his Bachelor of Science (Health/Fitness) and Masters (Biomechanics) degrees at Springfield College, Springfield MA. He received his PhD in Sports Medicine/Rehabilitation Engineering from the University of Virginia. His Physical Therapy degree (MPT) was awarded at Slippery Rock University where he has taught in the DPT program since 1990. Chris is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Chris specializes in computerized biomechanical motion analysis and ergonomics. ​His clinical and research interests are gait/running analysis, shoulder rehabilitation, movement optimization in sport and also spine ergonomics.​​
