Staff members Debbie King & Martha Sullivan, both Physical Therapist Assistants and Certified Pilates Instructors recently attended a "Therapeutic Pilates" seminar hosted by Summit Professional Education (8.27.10). The course was attended by PT's, OT’S, PTA's, COTA’s, Massage Therapists and Personal Trainers. The focus was on implementing Pilates techniques to improve balance, strength and kinesthetic awareness.

Every patient who is referred to the facility will be treated with an individualized rehabilitation program to assist them in achieving a safe and rapid recovery.The staff works in an efficient and coordinated manner to maximize patient success.


Our Services
Services at NHOSPT include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, home exercise instruction, general fitness and preventative conditioning programs for athletes. NHOSPT is also a clinical education training site for senior Physical Therapy.
To receive treatment and rehabilitation services, a physician's referral is required.

About the Owner
North Hills Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy (NHOSPT) is under the ownership and direction of Steven Hoffman, PT, ATC, SCS. Mr. Hoffman has been a Rehabilitation Consultant to the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club and previously served as Head Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist for the North Allegheny School District from 1982 through 1992. He is currently on the clinical faculty of eight physical therapy schools and is a Board Certified Sports Physical Therapist. NHOSPT is dedicated to the prevention and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal problems and orthopedic injuries.
